SARAH CABRAL is a singer from Paraná Brazil who draws on modern jazz and classical influences to breathe new life into seemingly bygone eras of traditional and popular Brazilian music. A recent review by Helvécio Cardoso in Diário da Manha describes her music as “uniting the sophistication of the most exquisite taste and simplicity.”
Cabral studied at The California Jazz Conservatory under mentor Marcos Silva, and collaborates and performs with many of the top musicians in New York City, Brazil, and beyond.
Her most recent recording project — a collaboration with guitarist Chico Pinheiro — will be released in 2025.
Cabral is currently based in New York City.

He is the son of the legendary drum innovator and organic percussion master Jajah Oga Onilu, and has continued his family's legacy by redefining the soundscape of Caribbean percussion.
Modupe’s music — rooted in African traditions yet boldly experimental — combines Afro-Caribbean rhythms, spoken word, jazz, electronic textures, and ritualistic soundscapes, aiming to channel music as a tool of healing, storytelling, and cultural reclamation.
Onliu has collaborated with a wide range of local and international artists, and leads educational and spiritual music workshops across the Caribbean and diaspora.

ASHER KURTZ is a guitarist, record producer, improviser, and mix engineer originally from Dallas, TX. After performing in NYC and abroad for 13 years, he’s shared the stage and screen with artists such as Moses Sumney, St. Vincent, Sheryl Crow, Terrace Martin, Dawn Richard, Lenny Pickett & the SNL House Band, Terri Lyne Carrington, and Maggie Rogers. Asher has also been a part of sound installations at MoMA (with Shana Moulton), The Shed (The Sonic Sphere), (Lincoln Center (with Angélica Negrón), and The New Museum (with Ragnar Kjartansson).
ADAM BRISBIN is a Brooklyn-based guitarist and session musician whose deeply intuitive, space-driven playing has made him a fixture of the New York music scene. TRANPE is a Brooklyn based group of Sheila Anozier and Rufus Cappadocia. In Haitian Creole, Tranpe (the kreyòl verb to soak), is the name of a powerful drink where medicinal leaves and roots are soaked and infused in an unrefined rum, called kleren. The power of the songs is in the roots and leaves while the cello is the catalyst. TRANPE transcends boundaries and creates a synergy that exceeds the sum of its parts, seamlessly blending individual styles to create a truly unique musical infusion.
The duo released the album, “Twa Fèy, Twa Rasin” presenting 10 tracks taken from Haitian folklore, life stories, and parables. They are joined by “Bonga” Jean Baptiste, Haitian master drummer, on two of those tracks. Through their collaboration, they celebrate the transformative power of music.
GASTON “BONGA” JEAN-BAPTISTE was born in Croix-des Missions, La Plaine, Haiti, into a family with a long tradition of Vodou. As such, he was exposed to the ceremonies held in the family's peristyle from an early age, quickly becoming interested in music and travelling to all regions of the island as a young percussionist in order to learn about local rituals and rhythms. He was one of the founding members of Boukman Eksperyans and then Foula, two leading bands of the “Rasin” music movement, advocating a return to the roots of Haitian, African and Vodou culture in popular music. Bonga moved to New York at the end of the 90s and collaborated on live and recorded projects with Wyclef Jean, Grace Jones, Jean-Paul Bourelly and Urban Tap among others.

CHRIS MCCARTHY performs new music from his latest recording, Too Late to Quit, his debut on the LA Reserve label and his fifth album as a leader. Arriving on the tenth anniversary of McCarthy’s move to New York, the album reflects a decade spent establishing himself as one of the city’s most versatile pianists, composers, and collaborators. Across eight original compositions, McCarthy draws together the many musical directions his career has taken, pairing his signature compositional voice with poignant original lyrics.
Known for his “high skill and sensitivity” (The New York Times), McCarthy has quietly become one of New York’s most sought-after pianists, equally at home leading his own projects and navigating demanding work as a sideman. In just the past two years, he has appeared on recordings by Aubrey Johnson, Eden Bareket, Tony Davis, Vanisha Gould, Samir Langus, Marwan Allam, John Sturino, and Alex Tremblay, while continuing to develop his own artistic voice through his own releases, including the duo album Life’s a Gig with Gould and Add a Zero (2024).

A native of Auburn, Alabama, DJ SCAIFE grew up drenched in Gospel, Blues, R&B, and Soul music. As a serene and very observant child, he began singing in his father’s church at two years old. By age six he was playing piano and organ, and by ten he was on to the drum set. DJ is a graduate of Berklee College of Music. He has performed both for and with several notable figures and institutions, including The Little Rock Nine, Berry Gordy (founder of Motown), Valerie Simpson, Nona Hendryx, Lawrence "Larry" Watson, Harry Belafonte, Mark Wahlberg, and was a Top 50 Finalist on the 2014 Season of American Idol.

Led by Nikhil Yerawadekar (Antibalas, Akoya Afrobeat, Low Mentality), LIVING LANGUAGE pays homage to Fela Kuti and his Afrobeat concept in a nimble, soulful jazz format. The band’s sound features undeniable grooves and powerful melodies to motivate the people. Other musicians in the project bring their experience working with icons such as Lee “Scratch” Perry, Charles Bradley, and Vieux Farka Toure to help create this new perspective in Afrobeat.
On top of spending years in projects like Antibalas and Akoya Afrobeat, bandleader / guitarist NIKHIL YERAWADEKAR has recorded music with Tony Allen (legendary drummer and co-creator of the style), performed at the New Afrika Shrine in Lagos, and organized massive Felabration birthday concerts in NYC from 2016-2019. In all this time, Nikhil's fascination with Fela Kuti's legacy has only grown, as has the importance of transmitting his uplifting, anticolonial message with new music.

NYC singer-songwriter SAMI STEVENS harnesses Jazz, Soul, and Folk influences to create truly intimate original music. In writing songs, singing and accompanying herself on keys, she crafts a musical world based in silence, delivering dynamic, personal performances. LEX KORTEN has steadily risen to become a pivotal pianist in the contemporary jazz community both as a prolific, diverse sideman (Tyshawn Sorey, Melissa Aldana, Joel Ross, Zoh Amba, Milena Casado) and as an ambitious bandleader in his own right. Acknowledged by The New York Times, DownBeat, PopMatters, WNYC and other outlets for his charismatic, vulnerable improvisatory approach, Korten honors his adopted home among the great Black American Musical art forms via close mentorships with Geri Allen, Benny Green and others. His debut LP "Canopy" received widespread critical acclaim, landing on multiple year-end lists cataloguing the best releases and debuts of 2025.

Originally conceived in Boston in the mid 90s by the late bass legend, Tim Lüntzel, THE BROOKLYN BOOGALOO BLOWOUT ultimately found their stride in the dive bars of New York City, where their musical proficiency grew into a mix of soul, jazz, and r ’n’ b. In 2017, The Boog released "The Boog At Sunny's", a double album of the sweat, alcohol, and wild energy which has accompanied New York City's favorite bar band for two decades. Though the album was tragically to be Tim's last recording, the band is committed to carrying forth his unique spirit though the joy and power of the music and love he shared with all.
