Grammy-nominated multi-instrumentalist TAL MASHIACH (double bass and seven-string guitar) is a Brooklyn-based composer and bandleader whose music moves freely between cultures, traditions, and sounds. His sophomore album, Who's Around? (Anzic Records), was named a DownBeat Editors' Pick and drew notice from The Guardian, which pointed to Mashiach's "songlike composing skill" on the record.
