SERGIO TABANICO is a tenor saxophonist from Tucson, Arizona. His work intertwines the biting and clear sound of jazz legends like Eddie Harris, Wayne Shorter and Dewey Redman. He performs regularly with vibraphonist Joel Ross and has collaborated with many interdisciplinary artists across diverse genres, including Los Esplifs, June McDoom, Evan Wright, Nick Hakim, Moses Sumney, Drugdealer, Slauson Malone, and Wynton Marsalis. Tabanico frequently leads his own ensemble and is an active musician in the New York jazz scene.
