LunÁtico warmly welcomes singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Jim Oblon to our bandstand accompanied by the indomitable rhythm section of Tony Scherr and Josh Dion. This is one power packed trio and we are so looking forward!

JIM OBLON is a guitarist, singer, and drummer who first came to national attention recording and touring with Paul Simon, starting with the album So Beautiful or So What, where he played guitar, bass, and drums. Over ten years, he recorded three studio albums and two live records with Paul and toured extensively.

He has also toured on guitar and drums with Andrew Bird and recorded and toured as a guitarist with Lucinda Williams.

Joined by Tony Scherr on on bass and Josh Dion on drums, Jim performs a mix of old American tunes from the 1920s to the 1960s and original material as a raw, elegant guitar trio.
