SCREE is an instrumental trio made up of Ryan El-Solh on guitar, Carmen Quill on bass, and Jason Burger on drums. After nearly a decade playing together they have developed a near-telepathic rapport, which they put to work interpreting El-Solh’s impressionistic compositions. Scree's sound draws on an eclectic range of influences from Ellington to Brahms to Lebanese composer Ziad Rahbani. Pitchfork described their 2023 debut album, Jasmine On A Night In July, as “spellbinding.”
