Nir Felder’s innovative guitar work has led to performing with a remarkable range of musicians: Diana Krall, Brad Mehldau, John Mayer, Snoop Dogg, Sam Smith, Ben Platt, Chaka Khan, Erykah Badu, Common, Vulfpeck, Anderson Paak, Marcus Miller, Kacey Musgraves, Rina Sawayama, Dave Matthews Band, Tori Kelly, Jennifer Hudson, Terri Lyne Carrington, Kamasi Washington, Robert Glasper, Amy Schumer, Meshell Ndegeocello and Dianne Reeves. He has worked on three Grammy-nominated albums including the Terri Lynne Carrington’s Grammy-winning “Money Jungle”.

Felder’s first recording under his leadership was the critically acclaimed major label debut “Golden Age” (Sony/OKeh), an album called “lyrical and lofty” (New York Times), “mesmerizing” (Boston Globe), “mind-boggling” (All About Jazz) and "a great record" (Downbeat).

He is the winner of both the 2021 and 2023 Downbeat Magazine Critics Poll for “Rising Star Guitarist” and currently teaches at both Berklee College of Music and The New School in New York City.
