Juan Chiavassa, from Venado Tuerto, Argentina, is the current drummer with the Mike Stern Band. He’s also performed with Paquito D'Rivera, Esperanza Spalding, Russell Malone, John Patitucci, Benito Gonzalez, Jeremy Pelt and Pedrito Martinez. He has performed on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon with multi–Grammy-winning artists Residente and Bad Bunny.

As a producer, Juan led Julieta Rada’s 2024 album Candombe, featuring Fito Paez, Ruben Rada, Ile, Lionel Loueke, and others.
