Elé Howell ~ Drums
Vinícius Gomes ~ Guitar
Noah Garabedian ~ Bass
On a jazz scene brimming with exceptionally gifted young drummers, ELÉ SALIF HOWELL is rapidly earning a spot in the crowded top tier. A conspicuously talented accompanist before he reached his teens, the San Francisco native has thrived since moving to New York City in 2016, forging deep creative connections with leading contemporaries, mid-career masters, and revered veterans.
VINÍCIUS GOMES is a Brazilian jazz guitarist, composer, and first-call sideman. His sound weds Brazilian classical, jazz, and American jazz traditions to the advanced chromatics of Baden Powell, Pat Metheny, and Julian Lage. Gomes is known internationally as one of Brazil's finest accompanists for vocalists; he was worked extensively with Zizi Possi, Rosa Passos, and Jane Duboc as both an accompanist and music director.
Bass player, composer, and educator NOAH GARABEDIAN holds a BA in Ethnomusicology from the The University of California Los Angeles, and a Master's of Music Performance from New York University. He currently works with the music outreach program at Jazz At Lincoln Center, Jazz For Young People. He is also currently part-time faculty at The New School in New York City and works at the Stanford Jazz Workshop. In the past he has served as adjunct faculty at NYU, and taught with The Weill Institute at Carnegie Hall. Noah has performed and toured with Ravi Coltrane, Jeff Tain Watts, Andy Milne, Kris Davis, Ralph Alessi, Myron Walden, Nir Felder, Frank LoCrasto, Okkervil River, and Julian Pollack.
