Born and raised in Northern California’s Bay Area, ELÉ SALIF HOWELL began drumming at age two. He studied with pianist Art Khu and in the Oaktown Jazz Workshops in Oakland. He apprenticed with drum master Lenny White and tours regularly with NEA Jazz Master saxophonist Gary Bartz and Ravi Coltrane. Elé has performed and recorded with Chief Adjuah(FKA Christian Scott), Brandee Younger, Weedie Braimah, Stanley Clarke, Alain Pérez, among others. His father, Richard Howell, has been a major influence and collaborator throughout his career. Elé continues to write his own music, perform regularly around the world, and teach.

GABRIEL GAIARDO is an award-winning Brazilian pianist, composer, and arranger based in São Paulo. A Latin Grammy-winning artist, he is a leading force in the contemporary Brazilian jazz scene, seamlessly blending jazz traditions with the soulful rhythms of Brazilian music.

Gabriel's work spans numerous albums, EPs, and singles, including releases such as SAMBAJAZZ and Red House. He frequently performs live with his own ensemble, the Gabriel Gaiardo Trio or Gabriel Gaiardo Grupo, at prominent venues like JAZZB in São Paulo
