VINÍCIUS GOMES is a São Paulo-born, New York-based guitarist and composer whose music bridges the worlds of modern jazz and Brazilian tradition. His work captures the lyrical richness of Brazilian rhythms and melodies, interwoven with the improvisational language of contemporary jazz.

Vinícius has collaborated with a diverse range of artists across cultures and genres, including Magos Herrera (on her album Aire, National Sawdust Tracks), Grammy®-winning drummer Edu Ribeiro (News), Duduka da Fonseca (Quarteto Universal, Sunnyside), Guillermo Klein, Jon Cowherd, Seamus Blake, Melvis Santa, and Brazilian accordionist Toninho Ferragutti, with whom he recorded two albums including the Brazilian Music Award-winning A Gata Café. He has also served as guitarist and music director for Brazilian vocal legend Zizi Possi, and performed with leading orchestras such as the São Paulo State Symphony (OSESP) and the Orlando Symphony.
