LunÁtico hosts Argentine saxophonist Julieta Eugenio and this excellent lineup.

Julieta Eugenio will be presenting all new music and a quartet for the first time at Lunatico. She released her debut album, “Jump”, in 2021 on Dave Douglas’ Greenleaf Music label and went on to win the 2022 DCJazzPrix, an International competition presented by the DC Jazz Fest. She has presented her new album, “Stay”, at Dizzy's Club (Jazz at Lincoln Center), Summer Stage, Smalls Jazz Club, and in California at Sam First and Just Jazz Series. Last year, she was nominated by the Jazz Music Awards for Best new Artist. 

In 2017, Julieta won the International Women in Jazz Competition in 2017 as a member of the SIJ trio. She has shared the stage multiple times with the jazz legend, Johnny O’Neal, and was featured on his residencies at many NYC clubs including: Smoke, Ginny’s, Smalls and Mezzrow. She also performed recently with the legendary Dee Dee Bridgewater at the Mary Lou Williams Jazz Festival at the Kennedy Center.
