Along the way she presented the new album at Dizzy's, Jazz at Lincoln Center Summer Stage, Smalls jazz Club, Bushnell Park Jazz Festival in CT and in California performing at Sam First, Just Jazz Series and ETA Highland Park. In October, she was nominated by the Jazz Music Awards for Best new Artist.
Julieta began her music journey in Argentina before relocating to New York City. She won the International Women in Jazz Competition in 2017 as a member of the SIJ trio. She has shared the stage multiple times with the jazz legend, Johnny O’Neal, and was featured on his residencies at many NYC clubs including: Smoke, Ginny’s, Smalls and Mezzrow.
More on Julieta’s upcoming release: STAY is an inward spiritual journey, an enlightening process of self-discovery of the inner world within the outside world. The imagination inside our minds, the different dimensions in between, the immersion into the real world, the feeling of body motion while the mind keeps navigating somewhere else, somewhere without time and space. The feeling that stays, the sounds, the silence, the stories, the people, the dimensions, nature, the universe—it's all us; it’s you; it’s me. STAY, me with myself, with you and I and us.
