LunÁtico co-founder, ARTHUR KELL, is an internationally-acclaimed bassist and composer. His SPECULATION QUARTET has toured widely in Europe, most recently a 17-day tour in 2025 promoting their latest release, “Live at Lunatico.” He has released five albums of original music and has worked with Thomas Chapin, Matt Darriau, Sam Newsome, Paul Bollenback, Roy Nathanson, Guillermo Klein, Steve Cardenas and many others. He appears on Valerie June’s album “Astral Plane" and has recorded alongside Bernard Purdie.
