"Trio Sin Tiempo," which translates to "Time Trio" or "Trio Without Time" in English, is a jazz ensemble that explore themes of water and its flow in their music, drawing influences from Argentine genres like Chamame, Chamarrita, Tango, and Candombe. They are known for their collective and improvisational approach, drawing from both jazz and South American musical styles.

Leo Genovese was born in Argentina in 1979 and moved to the United States in 2001. He has been traveling the world playing music for the last twenty years. He has eight albums as a leader and dozens as a sideman. He believes in music as a force of change. He practices the saxophone in hotel rooms. He doesn't support MP3 culture. He cooks pretty spicy food, like his music. Leo has also recorded with Esperanza Spalding, Wayne Shorter, The Mars Volta, Residente and George Garzone.

With five albums in different formats under his belt and numerous awards and nominations, Mariano Otero is one of the key figures of the new jazz in Argentina. The son of a musician, he studied at the Escuela de Música Popular de Avellaneda, and afterwards graduated from the Escuela de Música Contemporánea. He won a scholarship to the Berklee College of Music in Boston and to the Conservatorium van Amsterdam.

Sergio Verdinelli was born in Buenos Aires. He was a member of Luis Alberto Spinetta's group, accompanied Fito Páez for three years, was part of Illia Kuryaki for many years and played with the Valderramas.

“By refusing to privilege one historical style over another, [Genovese] strengthens his claim as a polyglot” — New York Times

“[Genovese’s compositions] share an exploratory nature, whether the new terrain in question is a marriage of electronic and acoustic sounds, an unlikely use of chromatic scaling or the successful juxtaposition of otherwise disparate ideas.” — Downbeat
