Santi Debriano, born in Panama, has had long associations with Archie Shepp, Sam Rivers, Pharaoh Sanders, Freddie Hubbard, Bobby Hutcherson, Randy Weston and Dewey Redman. Andrea Brachfeld, recipient of awards from Hot House Magazine (Best Jazz Flute) and Chamber Music America, has played with Tito Puente, Ray Barretto, Hubert Laws, Paquito D’Rivera and Wallace Roney. A four-time recipient of the “Jazz Writer of the Year” award from SESAC, the performing rights organization, Bill O’Connell is on the jazz faculty of Rutgers University. Bill’s longtime associate, Dave Valentín, pointed out, “I’ve never heard him take a bad solo. He’s also a wonderful accompanist.”
